KenBay Manufactures Their Clydesdale Industrial Compactor in U.S.

MENDHAM, N.J., June 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- KenBay, the New Jersey based distributor of industrial compaction equipment, announced this week that it has begun producing their industrial waste compactor, the Clydesdale, here in the U.S.

``Having our compactors produced here in the U.S. isn't just about creating more American jobs, it is also beneficial in stabilizing our pricing from the fluctuating euro and overseas shipping costs,'' KenBay president Don Meis noted. ``The less we have to rely on international shippers and foreign manufacturers, the quicker we can respond to customer's demands.''

KenBay has engaged their midwest sales representatives, Waste Control International, headquartered in North Dakota, to begin producing the industrial compactor. The Clydesdale's 6 to 1 compaction capabilities, perfect for such varied applications as recycling plastics and cardboard, compacting 50 pounds sacks and removing general wet/dry waste from facilities, has become a mainstay in warehouses, shop floors and facilities around the country.

And although popular U.S. sentiment may have squashed the proposal to allow the United Arab Emirates to purchase control of American naval ports, the port of Dubai is still open to U.S. business. KenBay is proud to note that the first 7 Clydesdale compactors produced in the U.S. went overseas.

Of the Clydesdales produced for KenBay, five were bought by and shipped to Saifee Ship Parts & Ship Chandlers in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Saifee Ships purchased the compactors for a client to use onboard shipping vessels. KenBay credits an informative and easy to navigate website, a long list of reputable clients, as well as a responsive sales force which gave Saifee Ship the confidence to purchase these compactors.

Two other Clydesdale compactors manufactured in ND were shipped to Good Foods SA in Lima, Peru in April. Good Food SA is a South American candy producer that was eager to bring the Clydesdale to their facility to address waste and counterfeiting issues.
