New Vision Hires Sarah Smith as a Color Specialist

Smith’s responsibilities at New Vision include color profiling, software, media and equipment testing, and advanced color workflow training. New Vision is the services arm of Tekgraf, a company headquartered in Greenville with annual revenues exceeding $125 million.

Smith has a diverse background in the digital color market. Her software applications experience includes Raster Image Processors (RIP) and International Color Consortium (ICC) Profiling packages, and she has extensive knowledge of hardware including digital wide-format printers and scanners. Her additional areas of service expertise include technical support and training, custom ICC profiling, color-managed workflow integration, troubleshooting and problem solving, color theory and analysis, and research and development.

She is accomplished in all areas of high-end digital imaging workflow, from capture to output, and has previously worked for ColorBurst Systems, Fine Print Imaging, Digigraphics, and Western Camera. Smith is a graduate of Colorado State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.
