EFI Opens Company Headquarters to Event Attendees
Foster City, Calif. – March 12, 2008 – Guy Gecht, CEO of EFI (Nasdaq: EFII), the world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, will kick-off the TAGA (Technical Association of the Graphic Arts) 60th Annual Technical Conference with a keynote address on Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2008, in San Francisco. Gecht will examine the macrotrends impacting the direction of the print industry. He will redefine the challenges and discuss the hidden opportunities in the digital revolution.

In addition, EFI is opening its corporate headquarters in Foster City, about 20 miles south of San Francisco, for special presentations at an open house that closes the conference. The visit, open to all attendees, will take place on March 19 at 9 a.m. Ghilad Dziesietnik, CTO, Kathy Wilson, senior director of product marketing for Fiery, and Chuck Gehman, director of product management, are the featured speakers.

“EFI has a long history of supporting TAGA and its many programs, and we’re excited they are involved in a more prominent way at this year’s event,” said Mark Bohan, managing director of TAGA. “With 12 years of experience at EFI, together with years in the high-tech arena, Guy is uniquely positioned to address the challenges and opportunities facing the print industry. A few days later, attendees have the opportunity to hear from other thought-leaders at EFI and to visit their headquarters, a rare chance to get ‘behind the scenes’ insight and access.”

Organized in 1948, TAGA is the only global professional association for the graphic arts industries. The association focuses on graphic arts systems, software, and computer technology developments, as well as the more traditional areas of press, ink, and paper engineering applications.

TAGA’s annual technical conference is the only international conference for the graphic arts that features technical papers on research right out of the laboratory, studies from the pressroom, and software and systems engineering papers. The conference’s agenda delivers value to pressroom management, paper and ink specialists, prepress, micro technology, graphic arts educators, and research and development. This year’s event runs March 16-19th at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel in San Francisco. More information is available at www.taga.org.
