Allegra Network Presents Supplier of the Year Award
to Heidelberg USA
Northville, Michigan (May 5, 2008)– Allegra Network, with more
than 600 locations worldwide specializing in print and graphic communications
under the brand names of Allegra Print & Imaging, American Speedy
Printing Centers, Insty-Prints and Signs Now, honored Heidelberg
USA, the world’s leading manufacturer of printing presses, with
the “Supplier of the Year” award at its 2008 Allegra Network convention.
The three day event was held at the Hilton Americas April 2-5 in
Houston, Texas.
Allegra Network franchise members voted Heidelberg USA as the “Supplier
of the Year.” The award is given to a supplier who provides strong
financial incentives and problem solving avenues, fosters strong
communication, resolves customer complaints quickly and efficiently
and has growth initiatives in place to aid a franchise member’s
business.
Carl Gerhardt, President and CEO of Allegra Network, was thrilled
to announce Heidelberg as Allegra Network’s Supplier of the Year.
“Heidelberg has worked closely with us for more than ten years in
providing top-notch equipment and technology for our centers. We
deeply appreciate their efforts. Our franchise system is better
off for it.”
In April 2007, Heidelberg served as host for Allegra Network’s
annual summit trip to Heidelberg, Germany. More than 160 of Allegra
Network’s top franchise members participated in the event which
provided the opportunity to network and share best practices with
one another and with members of the Allegra Network corporate management
team.
“We are pleased and honored to have been selected as ‘Supplier
of the Year’by the Allegra Network franchise members,” said Bill
Van Buskirk, manager of National Accounts for Heidelberg USA. “We've
worked diligently to ensure that Allegra Network locations receive
unsurpassed solutions and services from us, and as a result we've
been named ‘Supplier of the Year’. Because Allegra franchisees work
with a wide variety of suppliers, being named the best is a very
special honor."
