BELFONTE, PA -- May 13, 2008 -- DigitalPrintingReports.com, the
website of Heidi Tolliver-Nigro, well-known industry analyst and
former senior analyst at the Industry Measure, has gone live. The
site is kicking off with a series called the “Marketer's Primer
Series,” a three-part set of primers on digital printing, 1:1 (personalized)
printing, and Web-to-print aimed at educating marketers and creatives.
Primers on personalized URLs (PURLs) and transpromo will be forthcoming.
All three reports in the series, developed by Heidi Tolliver-Nigro
for The Industry Measure in 2007 and released back to her at the
company's closure on March 31, have been updated with refined discussions
and additional illustrations and case studies. Reports are offered
in single-user versions and licensed versions for printers, creatives,
and marketers who wish to use them to educate their customers or
employees.
As of May 5, 2008, pricing is $149 for the single-user report and
$749 for the licensed report. Single-user versions can also be purchased
in two- or three-report discount packages. Vendor reseller agreements
are available.
Free Reports and Discounts for IM Subscribers
Heidi Tolliver-Nigro is offering the following free reports and
discounts for former Industry Measure subscribers:
- For those who purchased older versions of these reports, updates
are offered at no charge, with proof of purchase from The Industry
Measure;
- For those who purchased any other digital printing, 1:1 (personalized)
printing, or Web-to-print report, reports are offered at 25% discount
off the single-user or package price, with proof of purchase from
The Industry Measure;
To keep up with regular changes in the marketplace, primers will
be updated on a quarterly basis.
Digital Press and PURL Comparison Reports
Heidi Tolliver-Nigro will be releasing two additional reports by
early summer. First out will be a comparison of key specifications
for the industry's light production, production, and high-speed
digital black-and-white and color presses. This will be an update
to the highly popular “Digital Press Specs: At a Glance,” released
by The Industry Measure last November. The report will have a special
emphasis on printable substrates, with dedicated spreadsheets covering
substrates types and weight ranges for each model of digital press.
A comparison report on PURL software will follow.
