X-Rite and Alwan Announce Industry’s First Automated Standardization Solution: IntelliTrax with Print Standardizer

Designed to address the graphic industry’s ever growing need for standards compliance, it provides an affordable and easy to implement standardization solution within the G7™ workflow for analog and digital presses.

This combined offering establishes a new class of standardization solutions in the graphic arts industry. Print Standardizer’s intuitive and easy-to-use wizard-based, IntelliTrax Manager, allows users of any skill level to set their preferred parameters based on the press and substrates in use. This allows the software to make automatic, real-time, and dynamic dot gain adjustments to ensure plate curves remain in balance, thereby allowing customers to achieve instant workflow compliance with G7™ requirements.

Users can also set their chosen timeframe for the system to make its automatic plate curve adjustments to keep the press calibrated over time, with press-performance and job-tracking capabilities. With Print Standardizer, users can match any G7™ and ISO standard printing condition including Fogra 39, GRACoL™ and SWOP™ on each and every job. The new solution allows printers to reduce print preparation time, and dramatically cut waste paper and ink consumption, increasing overall profitability.
